Dr. Ondra Krouse-Dismukes

As the owner of O'Writes, I bring over a decade of experience as an English professor, professional blogger, essayist, and - most recently - as a Freelance Editor-In-Chief of Pretty Smart Chics Ezine and The Linguistique Mystique: An Ezine for Writers. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from The University of Georgia (Go, Dawgs!), a Master's degree in English from Auburn University Montgomery, and a Ph.D. in English, also from The University of Georgia (Go, Dawgs!).  An academic at heart, my research interests include African American literature, Black women's narratives, and African diasporic dance.  When I'm not fawning over language, I'm trying to live my best life as the luckiest wife and mom in this whole wide world!
